|
The Northeast Fly Fishing School presents a two-day seminar series designed to provide anglers of all levels with the
opportunity to be taught by fly fishing's most highly respected masters of the art.
This hands-on seminar series will focus on: casting, tackle selection, terminal tackle, including knots, leaders, lines, casting in wind, fly tying, fishing from boats and shore, fighting fish, proper release, photographing your trophy fish, fishing etiquette and how to select a guide. The school specializes in providing you with the skills necessary to successfully sight cast and fish for all species native to the Northeast: Striped Bass, Weakfish, False Albacore, Bonito and Bluefish. The school begins with a reception on Friday evening. The two full days of classes will end on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Each day will include classroom environment instruction, slide presentations, as well as hands-on "how to" instruction. Casting, fighting fish, and fishing from a boat will be conducted outside. All equipment, lunch and a reception on Saturday evening are included, lodging is not included. Our instructor staff has been selected for their ability and enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge with you. Class size is limited to a small group per instructor, which will provide plenty of personal attention. Instructors will rotate with different groups, giving each angler the opportunity to experience each instructor.
