2006 NEW - NORTHEAST FLY FISHING SCHOOL
Sponsored by Natural Anglers

Two-day Weekend Seminar Series
Date: to be announced, 2006
(Saturday & Sunday)

The Northeast Fly Fishing School presents a two-day seminar series designed to provide anglers of all levels with the opportunity to be taught by fly fishing's most highly respected masters of the art.

This hands-on seminar series will focus on: casting, tackle selection, terminal tackle, including knots, leaders, lines, casting in wind, fly tying, fishing from boats and shore, fighting fish, photographing your trophy fish, proper release, fishing etiquette and how to select a guide. The school specializes in providing you with the skills necessary to successfully sight cast and fish for all species native to the Northeast: Striped Bass, Weakfish, False Albacore, Bonito and Bluefish.

The school begins with a reception on Friday evening. The two full days of classes will end on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Each day will include classroom environment instruction, slide presentations, as well as hands-on "how to" instruction. Casting, fighting fish, and fishing from a boat will be conducted outside. All equipment, lunch and a reception on Saturday evening are included, lodging is not included.

Our instructor staff has been selected for their ability and enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge with you. Class size is limited to a small group per instructor, which will provide plenty of personal attention. Instructors will rotate with different groups, giving each angler the opportunity to experience each instructor.

Our Instructors include:
Lefty Kreh, Flip Pallot, Bob Popovics, Tom Earnhardt, Lou Tabory, Ed Jaworowski, Glenn Michealson, Samuel Talarico, Capt. Barry Kanavy

Location:
The school will be held at the Montauk Lake Club, on East Lake Drive, in Montauk, Long Island, New York. Montauk is the "Sportfishing Capital of the Northeast", it is easily accessible, just one hour from Long Island's Islip McArthur Airport, or two hours from JFK International and NYC.

The Montauk Lake Club is a private Yacht Club and Marina offering lodging, dining and a quiet atmosphere conducive to the learning experience. The Montauk Lake Club's access to "world class fishing waters" is perfect for anglers wishing to charter a boat before or after the school.

For reservations and information about lodging at the Montauk Lake Club, please call: 631.668.5705. Other nearby accommodations are available to fit any taste and budget.

Cost is $750 for the Two-day Weekend Seminar

Anglers wishing to attend only particular seminars rather than the entire weekend series will be accommodated.

Note: All instructors listed above participate in The Northeast Fly Fishing School; however not all instructors are available for all seminar series. If you want a particular instructor please let us know. We will do our best to schedule you with the instructor of your choice.
